Need help studying for the Institutional Scholastic Aptitude Test (ISAT) ?

The Institutional Scholastic Aptitude Test (ISAT) is an entry level exam for only candidates seeking admission into the Georgia Southern University. It is similar to the national SAT apart from the fact that it is for only one institution.


Registration


• To register for ISAT, please the download registration forms from the ISAT website
• Mail completed forms, along with relevant documents and fees to Testing Office, Georgia Southern University, Box 8132, Statesboro, GA, 30460
• For individual testing please call the Testing Office at (912) 478-5415 to make an appointment
• Confirmation and details regarding test location will be emailed about seven days before the exam



Eligibility


• ISAT is only for qualifying students seeking admission into the Georgia Southern University



Fees


• The application fee is $55, payable by money order or check
• Walk-in candidates will have to pay an extra $100
• Registration for private testing is $70



Exam Format


• The ISAT exam occurs just once a year between June 30 and July 1
• Results will be sent to the admission office f the Georgia Southern University within two weeks



Exam Contents


• The exam is timed for two and a half hours
• The exam is made up of three math sections and three verbal sections



Other Information


• Candidates have to come along with approved photo identification
• Candidates must come with a calculator and #2 pencils
• Depending on availability of space, walk-in candidates are allowed
• Private testing is limited and is only offered Monday through Friday
