I don't think it matters as long as you are consistent and decide in advance on a system and stick with it. Also be consistent with the number of spaces before and after each level. Here is the Harvard Outline scheme

 	History of the Vietnam War

I. Vietnam as part of French Indochina
     A. 19th Century imperialism

          1.Berlin conference, 1890
 	          a. Africa
 	 	  b. Chinese concessions
                  c. Southeast Asia

          2. Restored French national pride after German defeat
 	  3. Built up the French business classes after Napoleon III

B.	Tin and rubber industries
C.	Revolutionary insurgencies emerge after 1900
D.	Ho Chi Minh and other French-educated Marxists

II. Ho Chi Minh and the Vietminh Coalition
A.
B.

III. World War II and Japanese Occupation
IV. Vietmanese Declaration of Independence

Hello -- generally we don't allow guest posts. They tend to be low quality and the authors post the same article everywhere which is bad for our site (duplicate content). All of the content is 100% unique and does not appear elsewhere on the web. Thanks for the offer anyway!

I have been reading about different methods to study for years. I think the study solutions are great, with one caveat. No one has yet explained how to practice the connections study style with repetative information.
For example: You have 50 rashes to memorize, with multiple variables of information to remember for each. At times many are similar so they start to run together. If you make list of 1-12 and you give it pictures as you suggested, "“sun” for one, “shoe” for 2, “tree” for three ". How do you use the pre-existing list to make memories of a new topic?
