One of the hardest lessons a student will ever need to learn is time management. Millions of dollars are spent on books, software programs, and equipment designed to help students manage their time. However, most times the students start to become overwhelmed with projects, assignments, and the administrative of their time management system. Time management styles are as complex and individual as the person. What works for one person will not necessarily work for another. Study Plan of Action
Monday, July 28th, 2008This plan of action is most effective if you create vivid details in the mental pictures you create. So visualize doing specific assignment tasks at particular times in a definite place. Use the following guidelines when visualizing your study success:
-create a list
-pick a specific spot to study
-choose a particular time
-study alone
-keep your desk organized
-give yourself a chance to take breaks
-don’t eat while you study
-use your time wisely, studying the most pertinent information
-consider school a tool to make your future easier
-keep your eye on the prize- great marks
